The execution of storm drains for the subsequent paving of the Costanera began
With the financing of the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, the first stage of the work called “Coastal Urban Development” began in Monte Hermoso, which with a budget of 97 million 900 thousand pesos will execute surface storm drains and the paving of Av. President Juan Domingo Perón, from Av. Alfonsín to Pedro de Mendoza Street.
The works in charge of the company COINCE SA, winner of Public Bid No. 03/2021, consist of the removal of sidewalks, leveling and widening of the same for the subsequent execution of the north ditch cordon, the south longitudinal speed bump and the mixed paving.
This important work will rearrange this coastal sector with a high concentration of buildings and tourism, being one of the busiest arteries in season.
The conduction of rainwater through the superficial storm drains will allow the channeling towards the intersections to discharge on the coastline and avoid the flooding of the sector before each storm or strong fall of water, while the paving in addition to improving the connectivity it will avoid the dragging of the contaminating calcareous material and its permanent maintenance.
In addition, the execution of the north gutter cordon over the buildings will define the levels with which the sidewalks can be built, rectifying slopes that improve accessibility and traffic through them.
